holidays sure crept up quickly this year, didn't they?
But there's plenty of time to shop, and we hope you'll
choose small, independent retailers as much as possible.
Shops like ours support independent artists and
designers who lovingly create so many cool, quirky gifts
that are also really affordable. We've compiled some of
our favorite inexpensive treats here
that are perfect for stocking stuffers, Hanukkah treats,
Secret Santas, grab bags... or just for you!
We've also got some really cute holiday
cards from The Walrus & the Carpenter that are
worth a lookie.
If
that wasn't convincing enough, how about free shipping
good through November 30 for all of you early bird
holiday shoppers? The free shipping code is found in
your newsletter email.

We
recommend that our U.S. customers place their Christmas
and Hanukkah orders by Monday, December 12. Orders will
still be shipped after that date, but as mail starts to
slow down with the holiday rush, there's no guarantee
that your package will get to you in time. Also, since
we'll be bringing our entire inventory to the Boston
Bazaar Bizarre on December 11 (more on that in a
moment), you might miss out on that perfect gift you've
been drooling over if you don't order early.
For
our international customers, we're recommending December
2nd as the cutoff. We're not able to guarantee arrival
by the holidays, so please order as early as
possible.

We're so excited to announce that
ReadyMade magazine has featured Plain Mabel and
Switchring in its December/January stocking stuffer
section. Switchrings
make such a great gift, and are only $8. Plain Mabel is
the only place you'll find them online!
The
Italian edition of ELLE magazine has also
chosen to feature Plain Mabel this December in an
article on online shopping. We're so proud to be a part
of such a prominent and fashionable international
magazine!

Fairs
In
New England? For the third year in a row, you can come
see us (and our entire inventory!) in person at the Boston Bazaar Bizarre. Many of your
other favorite Plain Mabel artists will be there, too --
be sure to stop by and say hi on December 11th at the
Cyclorama, between 1pm and 8pm. Cleveland and LA also
have Bazaar Bizarres coming up -- check them all out here.
Before we hit Boston, we'll be showing right here
in Northampton, MA at the Stars & Skulls Crafty
Craft Fair! Visit us on December 3rd from 12-5, 101 King
St (a short walk from downtown!).
